Working With Cow Creek Review

     This semester, Fall 2019, I began working as an Art Editor Shadow for the Pittsburg State University's student organization, Cow Creek Review.  I will be learning about all of the Art Editor's duties from fellow Art major, Jansis Alvarado. Recently we have discussed the process of judging and how student work will be accepted for the next magazine. I have had work published in it previously so I understand what a great opportunity it is for undergraduates building portfolios and making a name for themselves. I was happy to design flyers and business cards to get the word out to fellow students about the opportunity and its deadline. For the design,  I aimed to grab their attention with a bright color while also sticking with the theme of Cow Creek Review's logo, so I settled on a golden- yellow layout. This year we are using small business cards as an easier method of sharing information with a fun QR code linked to CCR's website on the back.
