Cow Creek in the 20's

       The new semester has begun! As we wait for submissions to slowly come in for the magazine, we kicked off the new year by organizing a 20's themed game night! This event wasn't a fundraiser, more of a social event. Even though the theme was pretty loose, since we didn't actually decorate, I would say the event was a success. We had a good turn out, students got to enjoy pizza, play games late into the evening, and learn more about Cow Creek Review. The event didn't need much planning, all it took was a few volunteers to bring games, invite friends, buy pizza, and of course make posters. We were originally going to have 20's trivia questions but once the night began, we realized that the games we had already kept everyone plenty occupied. I learned that it is important (and fun) for organizations to host events for the community to gain attention and maybe even new members.
